My Daily Drive to the Orphanage

Here is a fun video clip of my daily drive to see Z at her orphanage. It is much more exciting when you are experiencing the drive in real life, but this will give you a good idea of just how crazy bumpy the road is that leads us to Z's baby house. At the end of the video, you will see a quick shot of the Ymit Baby House, this is the front of the building, the 3rd wing. The front of the building is actually office spaces for businesses, nobody quite knows 'what businesses,' that is on the down low I guess. The babies are in the back 2 wings.

Umm ok that is quite bumpy. Good thing you don't get car sick :) Just remember to show Z these things when she is older :)

Christy, you have certainly given us all sorts of fun things to look at. It's like we're right there with you!

I tried to e-mail you but thought I'd catch you via your blog. I'm getting you a hedgehog for Zahri. They're hard to find. I wanted to get you one because *I think* you mentioned somewhere on your blog that Zahri is very interested in texture! It stuck in my head - but even so it's something I think she'll like. I planned on sending it to you when you got home. Could you e-mail me your mailing address pretty please? My e-mail addy is below.

Take care and hugs to you both - Eileen

Wow....too funny. It is great that you took that video - so much better to show than tell - you know what I mean.

OK - I think our back county dirt roads are less bumpy - wow!

Had to let you know, I've been showing friends at work you and Z dancing. I think that video is just the best. We all have the giggles now! Stac

I think the swinging air freshener says it all.

Hi Christy,
Loved your video and all your information. Zahri is such a beautiful girl--I check you blog just to look at her.

I laughed so hard at his beaded seat cover. Don't you think some things are just purely American, and then you see it somewhere else and it opens your eyes--why wouldn't they have seat covers?!

I'm not laughing, though, that there haven't been new Zahria pictures in a few days. I'm going through withdrawals!

There are 9, soon to be 11 boys in my house right now for Ty's party. Someone just nailed my Pottery Barn glass light with a nerf ball, so I'm going to go raise the roof now....

Cousins (Izaak wants to name my daughter (his cousin) Isabella, Sant (for 'Santa') or Hershey (his friend's dog's name.) Hmmmm I told him that if we name her 'Hershey,' that would mean that we get to give her a lot of kisses.
